Eltman Law believes in the rights of the consumer and is committed to maintaining integrity and fairness in all aspects of operations.
Our Internal Controls, Risk Management & Compliance function is tasked with ensuring that all processes are designed and operating in a way that supports compliance with consumer protection laws and client specific requirements.
All of our employees are trained on relevant consumer protection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The complete text of the FDCPA may be found at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf
Eltman has a zero tolerance policy for employees and third party agents who violate consumer protection laws.
Any consumer who feels that they may have been treated inappropriately should immediately send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, and someone from our compliance team will respond to you within 2 days. Consumers wishing to dispute a particular debt may also send an e-mail to the same address.
As a debtor, you are entitled to rights. Debt collectors must follow stringent protocol when communicating with you and attempting to collect a debt. Below you will find several resources that outline debtor rights and appropriate action to take if a debt collector violates these rights.
